D&A is New Zealand government funded (TEC) and registered (NZQA). D&A has been operating for 26 years and we are the South island’s only independent tertiary institute dedicated to design and arts education. D&A is one of the few design and arts institutes to place an emphasis on real world scenarios in its education and training, through design briefs, internships and work experience.
D&A bring around 400 students from New Zealand, the Pacific, Asia, Europe and the Americas together with over 70 professionals to create a community of people passionate about design and arts. D&A offers 14 qualifications over seven disciplines in design and art field and our courses are designed and taught by industry professionals to ensure our graduates’ successes in the creative industries.
