The National Trade Academy is a specialist education and training institute in Land Based Training, including Agriculture, Equine, Forestry and Horticulture. We also provide courses in English language courses full time or part time. We have our own Land Based Training centre on the outskirts of Christchurch. We provide training to both New Zealand and International students.

The National Trade Academy has been delivering training to international students for the past 5 years. Students have come from Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, China, Japan, Italy, India and the Philippines. Many students have gone on to seek employment on farms and Orchards in New Zealand. Many students have returned to their country to utilise their new skills and knowledge on farms back home.

Our own Land Based Training Centre with Riding arena’s, Stables, Lunging arena, horse yards, Agriculture equipment, Horticulture compound, classrooms and associated facilities.
